Don't touch Nature or you could destroy a home...just look and listen
When you make a Port-A-Potty, dig a hole about 30-50 cm. deep.
Every time you use it, pour some dirt into the hole
When you leave, pour the rest of the dirt in...make sure it
doesn't
smell
...stamp it down...mark it with a cross.
Don't pollute water by doing your business in there, or by
throwing
things in, or by washing with soap or shampoo in there.
Use dead and dry wood for fires...don't cut down live trees.
Build fires carefully, and where there were fires before
If you MUST build a fire in a new place, do it on rocky ground,
and
clear a non-burnable space 2 m.diameter.
If your stomach can't churn it, don't burn it. Save the
Kyoto way!
Clean up after yourself, leave no trace of fires and pick up every
little
scrap of garbage...Even if it's not yours!
When you leave, try to make it as clean or cleaner than when you
arrived
. . . . Leave No Trace
you've been there; just your thanks.
Carry out garbage if there is no receptacle where you are.
Walk lightly on travelled paths...don't make new paths
Don't put chemicals or oil down storm drains
